2018 ILIR/IAR End of Year Review NSWCDD
KING GEORGE, Va. (Sept. 25, 2018) – Principal investigator Erika Lieberknecht briefs Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Chief Technology Officer Kate Jones at the NSWCDD In-house Laboratory Independent Research (ILIR) and Independent Applied Research (IAR) End of Year Review. Lieberknecht -- an NSWCDD aerospace engineer engaged in a Ph.D. program focusing on hypersonic fluid-thermal-structure interaction under sea-level conditions -- identified challenges, objectives, accomplishments and future benefits related to her ILIR project, "Hypersonic, Dissociating Flow Over an Elastically Deforming Body at Sea Level".
